【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthefielddeterminationofwaterpenetrationofamasonrywallsurfaceunderspecificwaterflowrateandairpressureconditions.Thistestisintendedforuseonanymasonrywallsurfacethatcanbeproperlyinstrumentedandtestedwithintherequirementsofthisstandard.1.2ThistestmethodisnotidenticaltoandtheresultsarenotdirectlycomparablewiththelaboratorystandardTestMethodE514"TestMethodforWaterPenetrationandLeakageThroughMasonry."1.3Surfacepenetration,asdeterminedbythistestmethod,isdefinedastheamountofwaterpassingthroughthewallsurfaceexposedtotestingperunittimeperunitarea.Thispropertyisnotdirectlycomparabletooverallwaterpenetrationandleakage,whicharetypicallydefinedastheamountofwatertravellingcompletelythroughamasonrysystem.Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,orequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
