【摘要】:ThispartofISO3386specifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthecompressionstress/straincharacteristicoflow-densityflexiblecellularmaterialsupto250kg/m3.Italsoindicatesamethodforthecalculationofthecompressionstressvalueofsuchmaterials.Thecompressionstress/straincharacteristicisameasureoftheload-bearingpropertiesofthematerial,thoughnotnecessarilyofitscapacitytosustainalong-termload.Thecompressionstress/straincharacteristicdiffersfromtheindentationhardnesscharacteristics(asdeterminedinaccordancewithISO2439),whichareknowntobeinfluencedbythethicknessandthetensilepropertiesoftheflexiblecellularmaterialundertest,bytheshapeofthecompressionplateandbytheshapeandsizeofthetestpiece.ISO3386/2specifiesamethodforhigh-densitymaterialsanddiffersfrompart1inthefollowingways:-itismainlyconcernedwithmaterialsofdensityabove250kg/m3;-compressionstressvalueshavebeendeleted;-itdoesnotpermittheuseofacylindricaltestpiece.
