【摘要】:ThepurposeofthisguideistoensurethatafunctionalsystemwillresultwhenconsideringtheuseofprefabricatedpanelorH-barinsulationsystems.Bothsystemsrequireavaryingdegreeofpre-engineeringandprefabricationsothattheinsulationwillproducethespecifiedthermal,mechanicalandenvironmentaldesignrequirementsBoththeprefabricatedpanelsandH-barsystemswhichcanalsobeusedincombinationwitheachotheraretobedesignedto:Limitlossofheatfrominsulatedsurface.Limitexposedsurfacetemperaturesforburnprotectionofpersonnel.Maintainoptimumtemperaturesoftheinsulatedequipmentatoraboveaspecifiedminimumvaluerequiredfortheproperoperationoftheequipment.Produceasystemorassemblythatisdesignedtoprovideallowanceforthermalexpansion;isstructurallyadequate;isofaweathertightconstruction;andincorporatesdesignfeaturesthatpromoteefficientremovalforinspection,repairandmaintenancewhererequired.1.1Thisguidedescribesdesign,fabrication,shipping,handling,jobsitestorage,andinstallationofprefabricatedpanelandH-Barinsulationsystemsforvessels,ducts,andequipmentoperatingattemperaturesaboveambient.Typicalapplicationsinclude,butarenotlimitedto,airandgasducts,steamgeneratingunits,airqualitycontrolsystems,fans,storagetanks,processvessels,andcokedrums1.2Theinsulationdescribedhereinislimitedtosystemsconsistingofinsulatingunitsspeciallydesignedtofitthesurfacestobeinsulated,andengineeredfortheserviceandenvironmentalrequirements.Theinsulationunitmayalsoincludespecialdesignfeatureswhichfacilitatetheremovalandreplacementformaintenanceandinspection.1.3Whenprefabricatedpanelsareused,eachinsulationunitfactorypreassembledandtypicallycomprisedoftheinsulation,anouterlaggingtowhichtheinsulationisattached,aninnerretainingwiremesh,optionalfoillining,andmeansformechanicallysecuringmultipleunitstogetherinanassembly.1.4H-barsystemsrepresentinsulationunitsthataretypicallycomprisedoftheinsulation,outerlaggingandauniquelyconfiguredsubgirtdesignwhichbothsupportstheinsulationandprovidesameansformechanicallysecuringmultipleunitstogetherinanassembly.Thedesignofthesubgirtcreatesanx201C;Hx201D;configurationwhichisfabricatedfromlightgaugesheetmetal.Thesubgirtcomponentsconsistof:(1)ax201C;J-barx201D;shapewhichframestheperimeteredgesofthesurfacetobeinsulated,holdstheinsulationinplacealongtheouteredgeandprovidesascreenattachmentpointfortheouterlagging;(2)thex201C;H-barx201D;shapeisplacedatdefinedintervals.Thewebsectionofthex201C;H-barx201D;supportstheinsulationwhiletheexteriorflangeallowsfortheouterlaggingtobeattachedwiththreadedfasteners.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;WhenprefabricatedpanelorH-......
