【摘要】:Lowstrainimpactintegritytestingprovidesaccelerationorvelocityandforce(optional)dataonslenderstructuralelements(thatis,structuralcolumns,drivenconcretepiles,castinplaceconcretepiles,concretefilledsteelpipepiles,timberpiles,etc.).Themethodworksbestonsolidconcretesections,andhaslimitedapplicationtounfilledsteelpipepiles,Hpiles,orsteelsheetpiles.Thesedataassistevaluationofpileintegrityandpilephysicaldimensions(thatis,cross-sectionalarea,length),continuity,andconsistencyofthepilematerial,althoughevaluationisapproximateandnotexact.Thistestmethodwillnotgiveinformationregardingthepilebearingcapacity.4.1.1MethodsofTesting4.1.1.1PulseEchoMethod(PEM)8212;Thepileheadmotionismeasuredasafunctionoftime.Thetimedomainrecordisthenevaluatedforpileintegrity.4.1.1.2TransientResponseMethod(TRM)8212;Thepileheadmotionandforce(measuredwithaninstrumentedhammer)aremeasuredasafunctionoftime.Thedataareevaluatedusuallyinthefrequencydomain.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedurefordeterminingtheintegrityofindividualverticalorinclinedpilesbymeasuringandanalyzingthevelocity(required)andforce(optional)responseofthepileinducedbyan(handheldhammerorothersimilartype)impactdeviceusuallyappliedaxiallyandperpendicularlytothepileheadsurface.Thistestmethodisapplicabletolongstructuralelementsthatfunctioninamannersimilartoanydeepfoundationunits(suchasdrivenpiles,augeuredpiles,ordrilledshafts),regardlessoftheirmethodofinstallationprovidedthattheyarereceptivetolowstrainimpacttesting.1.2Thisstandardprovidesminimumrequirementsforlowstrainimpacttestingofpiles.Plans,specifications,and/orprovisionspreparedbyaqualifiedengineer,andapprovedbytheagencyrequiringthetest(s),mayprovideadditionalrequirementsandproceduresasneededtosatisfytheobjectivesofaparticulartestprogram.1.3Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5AllobservedandcalculatedvaluesshallconformtotheguidelinesforsignificantdigitsandroundingestablishedinPracticeD6026.1.6Themethodusedtospecifyhowdataarecollected,calculated,orrecordedinthisstandardisnotdirectlyrelatedtotheaccuracytowhichthedatacanbeappliedindesignorotheruses,orboth.Howoneappliestheresultsobtainedusingthisstandardisbeyonditsscope.Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1hequalityoftheresultproducedbythistestmethodisdependentonthecompetenceofthepersonnelperformingit,andthesuitabilityoftheequipmentandfacilitiesused.AgenciesthatmeetthecriteriaofPracticeD3740aregenerallyconsideredcapableofcompetentandobjectivetesting/sampling/inspection/etc.UsersofthistestmethodarecautionedthatcompliancewithPracticeD3740doesnotinitselfassurereliableresults.Reliableresultsdependonmanyfactors;PracticeD3740providesameansof......
