【摘要】:Selectionofcorrosioninhibitorforoilfieldandrefineryapplicationsinvolvesqualificationofcorrosioninhibitorsinthelaboratory(seeGuideG170).Fieldconditionsshouldbesimulatedinthelaboratoryinafastandcost-effectivemanner(1).3Oilfieldcorrosioninhibitorsshouldprovideprotectionoverarangeofflowconditionsfromstagnanttothatfoundduringtypicalproductionconditions.Notallinhibitorsareequallyeffectiveoverthisrangeofconditionssothatisimportantforaproperevaluationofinhibitorstotesttheinhibitorsusingarangeofflowconditions.TheRCEisacompactandrelativelyinexpensiveapproachtoobtainingvaryinghydrodynamicconditionsinalaboratoryapparatus.Itallowselectrochemicalmethodsofestimatingcorrosionratesonthespecimenandproducesauniformhydrodynamicstateacrossthemetaltestsurface.(2-21)Inthispractice,ageneralprocedureispresentedtoobtainreproducibleresultsusingRCEtosimulatetheeffectsofdifferenttypesofcouponmaterials,inhibitorconcentrations,oil,gasandbrinecompositions,temperature,pressure,andflow.Oilfieldfluidsmayoftencontainsand.Thispracticedoesnotcovererosiveeffectsthatoccurwhensandispresent.1.1Thispracticecoversagenerallyacceptedproceduretousetherotatingcylinderelectrode(RCE)forevaluatingcorrosioninhibitorsforoilfieldandrefineryapplicationsindefinedflowconditions.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
