【摘要】:Thistestmethoddeterminescementcontentinmixturesofcementwithsoiloraggregatebychemicalanalysis.Itwasdevelopedprimarilyfortestingsamplesforwhichasignificantdegreeofcementhydrationorhardeninghastakenplace.TestMethodsD2901orD5982maybeusedfordeterminingcementcontentoffreshlymixedsoil-cementmixtures.Thistestmethodisbasedondeterminationbychemicalanalysisofthecalciumoxide(CaO)contentofthesample.Themethodmaynotbeapplicabletosoil-cementmaterialscontainingsoilsoraggregateswhichyieldsignificantamountsofdissolvedcalciumoxide(CaO)undertheconditionsofthetest.Note18212;TheagencyperformingthistestmethodcanbeevaluatedinaccordancewithPracticeD3740.Notwithstandingstatementsonprecisionandbiascontainedinthistestmethod:theprecisionofthistestmethodisdependentonthecompetenceofthepersonnelperformingitandthesuitabilityoftheequipmentandfacilitiesused.AgenciesthatmeetthecriteriaofPracticeD3740aregenerallyconsideredcapableofcompetentandobjectivetesting.UsersofthistestmethodarecautionedthatcompliancewithPracticeD3740doesnot,initself,ensurereliabletesting.Reliabletestingdependsonmanyfactors;PracticeD3740providesameansofevaluatingsomeofthesefactors.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationbychemicalanalysisofcementcontentofhardenedsoil-cementmixtures.1.2AllobservedandcalculatedvaluesshallconformtotheguidelinesforsignificantdigitsandroundingestablishedinPracticeD6026.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardprecautions,seeSection.
