【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoalldevicesintendedforimplantationinhumanhearts,asaheartvalvesubstitute.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletobothnewlydevelopedandmodifiedheartvalvesubstitutesandtotheaccessorydevices,packagingandlabellingrequiredfortheirimplantationandfordeterminingtheappropriatesizeofheartvalvesubstitutetobeimplanted.ThisInternationalStandardoutlinesanapproachforqualifyingthedesignandmanufactureofaheartvalvesubstitutethroughriskmanagement.Theselectionofappropriatequalificationtestsandmethodsarederivedfromtheriskassessment.Thetestsmayincludethosetoassessthephysical,chemical,biologicalandmechanicalpropertiesofheartvalvesubstitutesandoftheirmaterialsandcomponents.Thetestsmayalsoincludethoseforpre-clinicalinvivoevaluationandclinicalevaluationofthefinishedheartvalvesubstitute.ThisInternationalStandardimposesdesignspecificationsandminimumperformancespecificationsforheartvalvesubstituteswhereadequatescientificand/orclinicalevidenceexistsfortheirjustification.ThisInternationalStandardexcludesheartvalvesubstitutesdesignedforimplantationinartificialheartsorheartassistdevices.
