【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedspecificallyfortestingtheporcelainenamelfinishonstoves,refrigerators,tabletops,sinksandothersanitaryware,laundryappliances,architecturalunits,etc.,wherethesurfacemaycomeincontactwithfoodacidsatroomtemperature.Citricacidhasbeenchosenasthetestmediumbecauseitisoneofthemostcommonofthefoodacidsandwillgenerallyprovideameasurableresultinitsactiononporcelainenamel.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureforevaluatingporcelainenamelsintheirresistancetocitricacidexposureatroomtemperature.Noattemptismadetocategorizeporcelainenamelsastotheiracid-resistanceornonacid-resistanceproperties,sincetherequirementsintheseveralbranchesoftheindustrydiffer.1.2Thetestmethodisapplicableforwareofvariousshapesprovidingtheycontainasubstantiallyflatareaapproximately50mmindiameter.1.3Thetestmethodisnotapplicabletofinishesonchemicalandhospitalware,whichmaycomeincontactwithstrongmineralacids,nortocookingutensils,whichmaycomeinprolongedcontactwithhotacidsolutions.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
